TripStop wins Venture on the Road Asturias, organized by BStartup of Banco Sabadell, SeedRocket and Wayra

TripStop has been declared the winner of the first stop of Venture on the Road. The program has been organized by BStartup of Banco Sabadell, SeedRocket, and Wayra, Telefónica's Corporate Venture Capital arm, with Google Cloud joining as a collaborator. The 8th edition of Venture On The Road, which kicked off this year in Asturias, maintains its objective of seeking out the best investment opportunities in each region and giving early-stage startups the chance to present their projects to investors and build a high-quality professional network. At this first stop, held yesterday at the Gijón Science and Technology Park, Venture On the Road collaborated with local partners through CEEI Asturias, Gijón. Impulsa, Astur Valley, and El Camaleón de Rubik. The four finalist startups were: AcuPet: a computer program to monitor the health of pets using its own neural networks, which also helps to promote healthy actions in people.

· Enfasys: A modular control system for managing energy flows, to be implemented in the commercial and industrial sectors with a hybrid installation combining solar generation and lithium battery energy storage.

· Code Evolution 24: A multi-tool space where communities can reach their entire audience in a controlled environment, interacting with them while generating valuable data for their businesses.

· TripStop: an app to find spaces for motorhomes or campervans where you can stay overnight, providing real-time verified tourist information and bookings.

Also participating in the event was Rubén Ferreiro, CEO of Grupo Viko, co-founder of Yaba, managing partner of Lanai Partners, and mentor at SeedRocket, who gave a presentation to the entrepreneurs entitled: “Key Decision: Self-Financing or Venture Capital in Your Company,” where he addressed the various forms of financing available to entrepreneurs and the implications of each.

TripStop, the winning startup of Venture on the Road Asturias, has already secured its place in the grand national final to be held in May 2025. Madrid, along with the winning projects from the other cities. It will also be able to participate in Google Cloud's digital natives program with up to $2,000 in credits valid for 12 months, architecture review and technical support from the platform's engineers, as well as preferential access to advanced training programs from Google Cloud Platform. Furthermore, it will automatically be entered into the selection process for SeedRocket's Entrepreneur Campus (33rd or 34th edition), to be held in May and November 2025 respectively. Venture on the Road begins its tour of different Spanish cities in Gijón to locate talent and promising startups at a regional level beyond the major hubs such as Madrid and Barcelona. Specifically, the event will take place in Zaragoza, Seville, Bilbao, Girona, and Alicante.
