The seventh edition of Venture On The Road is reaching the end of its tour across Spain in search of the best early-stage startups. The traveling event is organized by BStartup, the financial service for startups and scaleups of Banco Sabadell, SeedRocket, and Wayra, Telefónica's corporate venture capital arm. It also has the collaboration of Google for Startups. The final stop of this edition will be in Vigo on May 9th at the Palacio de la Oliva, as part of The Way Startup Summit 2024, which brings together around 2,000 attendees each year, including investors, startups, and institutions. Startups wishing to register for the event can do so until April 29th on the Venture On The Road website. The program, for another year, maintains its format and objectives: to seek out the best investment opportunities in each region and give early-stage startups the chance to present their projects to investors and build a high-quality professional network. To achieve this, Venture on the Road always relies on the experience and knowledge of the local ecosystem. This year, Venture on the Road Vigo is collaborating with local partners such as Xesgalicia and Startup Galicia. The winning startup of Venture on the Road in Vigo will have a guaranteed spot in the national grand final, which will be held on May 28th at Wayra Madrid. They will also be able to join Google Cloud's digital natives program, receiving up to $2,000 in credits valid for 9 months and direct technical support from Google Cloud engineers. In addition, they will be given free access to technical and business consulting sessions, along with priority access to advanced Google Cloud Platform training. Furthermore, each of the winning startups from each city will have the opportunity to attend the next Entrepreneur Campus (32nd edition), scheduled for November 2024. During this 7th edition, the traveling event, Venture on the Road, has visited a total of six Spanish cities to locate talent and promising startups at a regional level beyond Madrid and Barcelona, the two leading technology hubs in Spain. Specifically, the event has already visited León, Elche, Palma de Mallorca, and San Sebastián, before its final stop in Vigo, prior to the grand finale.
