Wayra is betting on video games: it's organizing a meeting with 14 funds to co-invest up to €2M per startup

  • Telefónica's innovation hub is focusing on co-investment in projects that can revolutionize the video game and eSports industry at the fifth edition of its Coinvestment Day.
  • The event, organized by Wayra, also included 14 funds: The Venture City, Drapper B1, Bitkraft, Kibo Ventures, Initial Capital, JME, Startupxplore, Grupo Godó, Grupo Planeta, Encomenda, Kfund, La Caixa, Bstartup de Sabadell, and Bankinter.

With this new Coinvestment Day, Wayra continues its objective of supporting the ecosystem and promoting investment in 2021. “If you want to find ambitious, cutting-edge, and brilliant startups, you should definitely look to the video game sector,” stated Paloma Castellano, director of Wayra Madrid. “The possibilities are endless, its growth is unstoppable, and in Spain we have the best entrepreneurs in this sector.
