Wayra invests in Remuner to boost the use of AI in corporate compensation plans

Wayra, Telefónica's main open innovation program, invests in Remner, the Barcelona-based startup that aligns company and employee objectives and incentives by automating and optimizing commission plans. Remner has developed a variable compensation management platform that uses artificial intelligence to optimize the management of compensation plans. Automating all aspects of sales commission plans through its no-code interface allows clients to design customized compensation plans based on data-driven decisions, maximizing team performance while motivating and retaining top talent. Wayra has participated in a €2 million funding round led by Silicon Valley-based fund Pear VC, with participation from investors such as Kfund, Bonsai Partners, Enzo Ventures, Bstartup, and prominent business angels from the Spanish and European ecosystem. The goal of the round is to expand its unique offering in the sales commission market and continue its growth in Europe. “At Wayra, we are very interested in solutions like Remuner, which leverage the power of artificial intelligence to automate and improve key business processes with the goal of enhancing their results. We are delighted to invest in this highly experienced founding team and look forward to helping them scale by connecting them with Telefónica customers who can benefit from this innovative solution,” explained Marta Antúnez, director of Wayra Barcelona. “Our main focus is changing how companies think about variable compensation models, transforming them into a growth driver,” stated Sergio González, CEO and co-founder of Remuner. "By combining a no-code interface and massive data exploitation, we transform sales commission management into a frictionless experience, enabling our clients to fully align team incentives with company objectives and provide real-time visibility to sales teams." Remuner integrates directly with its clients' systems, such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Pipedrive, NetSuite, Snowflake, Google BigQuery, or Amazon Redshift, allowing clients to model their compensation plans through its no-code interface and providing real-time visibility to sales teams. The platform also provides AI-powered insights throughout the process to optimize compensation plan rules and team performance.
