Wayra is participating in the next edition of 4 Years From Now (4YFN) with 15 startups from 5 countries

Wayra, the open innovation hub of Telefónica, will be present from February 25 to 27 at the new edition of 4 Years From Now (4YfN), where 15 startups from its portfolio will participate, coming from Wayra's hubs in Munich (Germany), London (United Kingdom), Caracas (Venezuela), Lima (Peru), Barcelona, ​​and Madrid. For the sixth consecutive year, Wayra will be present at 4YFN, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) space where the most promising startups will gather. disruptive. Wayra's participation in 4YFN is aligned with the company's new strategy, which seeks to invest in more mature technology startups that fit with Telefónica's own strategic projects. This edition will feature 300 presentations and more than 700 international exhibitors, including the Wayra stand where startups in cybersecurity, IoT, Big Data, Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, and video will be able to explain their technological solutions to investors, corporations, and public institutions seeking new business opportunities. On Monday, February 25, the Wayra stand will host Clevernet, Emotions AR, Genial.ly and We are testers. While on Tuesday the 26th it will be the turn of the startups Conntac, Plaza Points, SocialGest and ybVR. And finally, on Wednesday, Eccocar, Engidi, Valerann, and Redsift will be present. Wayra will also have a prominent presence on the event's agenda with speakers such as Miguel Arias, Global Entrepreneurship Director of Telefónica, who will explain the company's innovation strategy on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. on the Banco Sabadell Stage in a presentation entitled ‘We Scale Startups’ alongside Alicia Asín, founder of the multinational Libelium; Guenia Gawendo, Scouting & Innovation Director of Telefónica, and entrepreneur David Grant, from Aerial. Under the title ‘From Zero to Hero’, Andrés Saborido, director of Wayra Spain, will bring together three of the fastest-growing startups in Spain on Tuesday at 3:50 p.m. in the Garden Stage: Tappx, winner of the Tech 5 – TNW ranking in 2018; Typeform, winner of the Tech 5 – TNW ranking in 2017; and Housers. Wayra at Mobile World Congress

Telefónica's stand at MWC will host three Wayra startups. On Tuesday, Tappx, a developer community that allows free promotion of mobile applications, will talk about ‘New opportunities in digital video advertising’ and there will be a demo of the startup Ludus, specializing in virtual reality simulation for training and education of professionals in industry and emergency services. On Thursday, Carto will speak in the same space in a presentation entitled ‘Driving Smarter Cities & Indoor Mapping through Location Intelligence at Telefónica.
