Alicante, May 19, 2023.Weitec has been proclaimed the winner at the sixth stop of Venture on the Road in the Valencian Community. The event took place yesterday afternoon in the city of Alicante, the last stop of this sixth edition's traveling event organized by BStartup de Banco Sabadell, SeedRocket and Wayra, Telefónica's open innovation initiative, with Google for Startups as a collaborator.
After its stops in Oviedo, Cartagena, Bilbao, Málaga and Valladolid, Alicante was the sixth and final stop on this tour, prior to the grand final in Madrid where the winning startup of the sixth edition of Venture on the Road will be chosen. This 2023, the tour maintained its objectives: to seek out the best opportunities in each region and give early-stage startups the chance to present their projects to investors and generate quality networking. Held on Thursday, May 18th at the headquarters of the Digital District of the Valencian Community, on Avda. Perfecto Palacio de la Fuente, it benefited from the experience and knowledge of the local ecosystem thanks to the collaboration of local partners such as AlicanteTec, the Science Park of the University of Alicante, and the Digital District of the Valencian Community. The four finalist startups were: Avamed Synergy: A digital tool integration solution that allows for anticipating tumor growth and classification, eliminating complications during complex surgery.
- Beasts: An application that digitizes the role of the professional e-sports coach/analyst so that players can receive personalized recommendations based on their playing style.
- Stenfit: A SaaS platform created to connect coaches with their users and provide them with a tool that allows them to professionalize and centralize all their services.

- Weitec, the winning startup of Venture on the Road in Alicante, has secured its place in the national final to be held on June 13 in Madrid, alongside the winning projects from the other cities. It will also participate in Google Cloud's digital natives program with up to $10,000 in credits valid for 9 months and technical support from Google Cloud engineers. They will also have preferential access to advanced training from Google Cloud Platform's training programs.

- The winning proposal of the national final of the 6th Venture on the Road will receive as a prize a support package from all the partners, which includes specialized advice in finance or marketing worth €3,000 offered by BStartup, participation as an invited project in the SeedRocket Entrepreneur Campus, and a 6-12 month space in Wayra's offices, as well as access to events, training, workshops, and networking opportunities.
