Zaragoza will host the next stop of Venture on the Road by BStartup from Banco Sabadell, SeedRocket and Wayra

Venture on the Road continues its journey across Spain in its eighth edition, searching for the best early-stage startups. The traveling event is organized by BStartup of Banco Sabadell, SeedRocket, and Wayra, Telefónica's Corporate Venture Capital arm. It also has the collaboration of Google Cloud.

After its last stop in Gijón, the Zaragoza edition will announce the winning startup on January 16th at the Etopia building, a Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Technology, where it will recognize and reward Aragonese entrepreneurial talent. Startups wishing to register for the event can sign up until January 7 on the Venture on the Road page. The program, once again, maintains its objective of seeking the best investment opportunities in each region and giving early-stage startups the chance to present their projects to investors and build a high-quality professional network.

To achieve this, Venture on the Road always relies on the experience and knowledge of the local ecosystem.

This year, Venture on the Road Zaragoza is collaborating with multiple local partners, thanks to Zebra, La Terminal, Fundación Aragón Emprende, Instituto Aragonés de Fomento, CEEI Aragón, and Zaragoza Activa. The winning startup of Venture on the Road in Zaragoza will have a guaranteed spot in the national grand final to be held in Madrid in May 2025. In addition, they will be able to participate in Google Cloud's digital native program with up to $2,000 in credits valid for 12 months, architecture review and technical support from the platform's engineers, as well as preferential access to advanced training programs from Google Cloud Platform. Furthermore, it will automatically enter the selection process for the SeedRocket Entrepreneur Campus (33rd or 34th edition), which will be held in May and November 2025 respectively. During this 8th edition, the traveling event, Venture on the Road, will visit a total of six Spanish cities to locate talent and promising startups at a regional level beyond Madrid and Barcelona, the two leading technology hubs in Spain. Specifically, the event has already been to Gijón and in the coming months will arrive in Seville, Bilbao, Girona, and Alicante.
