“Zonox” was declared the winner at this penultimate stop of Venture On The Road 2024, which took place yesterday afternoon in the city of Málaga. The program was organized by BStartup of Banco Sabadell, SeedRocket, and Wayra, Telefónica's corporate venture capital arm, with Google for Startups joining as a collaborator. Following its fourth stop in San Sebastián, the traveling event returned to Málaga this Thursday, April 11. This year, Venture on the Road maintains the same objectives: to find the best projects in each region and give early-stage startups the opportunity to present them to real investors and generate quality networking.
At this penultimate stop, held yesterday at the headquarters of Andalucía Open Future – La Farola, Calle Concejal Muñoz Cerván, 3, Venture On The Road Málaga collaborated with the local ecosystem thanks to Andalucía Open Future, Andalucía Emprende, Lean Finance, and Málaga Tech.
The four finalist startups were:
·Arca: the SaaS platform that allows companies to offer economic well-being to their employees, making occupational pension plans accessible to any type of business.
AMALia:the AI integrated into WhatsApp, available in multiple languages and capable of helping you enjoy a more authentic, sustainable, and personalized tourism experience, offering plans, activities, and events in the city.
Prosfy:the data-driven HR-Tech that monitors the labor market to help both professionals measure their market value and companies objectively evaluate their employees' salaries.
· Zonox: electricity tariff comparison tool capable of cross-referencing consumption habits with the entire updated market offer in real time.
At the event in Malaga, Laura Martínez,entrepreneur and mentor at SeedRocket, participated with a presentation entitled: “From Startup to Scale Up: A Decade of Experience,” in which she spoke about the evolution of The Hotels Network from its beginnings as a startup ten years ago to becoming a company in full development and growth today.
“Zonox,” the winning project of Venture on the Road in Malaga, has already secured its place in the national final which will The event will be held in Madrid in June 2024, alongside the other winning startups from the previous stops. Furthermore, the winning startup will join Google Cloud's Digital Natives program, receiving up to $2,000 in credits valid for 9 months and technical support from the platform's experts. They will also have free access to training and business strategy sessions from the team, as well as priority access to advanced training programs from Google Cloud Platform. Venture On the Road will continue its tour through different Spanish cities to locate talent and promising startups at a regional level, beyond the major cities like Madrid and Barcelona. Specifically, the event has already taken place in León, Elche, Palma de Mallorca, and San Sebastián, and will soon be held in Vigo before the grand final in Madrid.
