Rosita is the first longevity coach to plan a health strategy starting at age 60 to reduce the risk of disease. With this new funding, the Valencian app will launch its service in the United States and will use these funds to create physiological longevity biomarkers using computer vision, a project already under development.
The four selected startups will participate in a 17-week acceleration program and will have access to training from mentors at Wayra and 5G Barcelona. Flash Park, Ebre Drone, Hop Ubiquitous, and Liip were the four winning startups of the previous edition of the 5G ScaleUp Program.
Wayra participated in ClimateTrade's €7 million Pre-Series A funding round alongside Conexo Ventures, ClearSky, and other investors. Telefónica is working to integrate the ClimateTrade API into tu.com to offset the carbon footprint of all devices it sells.
In 2021, Wayra invested a total of €6.7 million in 49 startups across Europe and Latin America. In Spain, Telefónica's open innovation hub closed its tenth anniversary year with a total investment of €2.7 million in 19 startups.
