In 2023, Wayra reinforced its focus on AI startups, with the fintech sector accounting for the largest number of investments. Over its 13 years of operation, Wayra has evolved into a corporate venture capital firm and currently offers support to startups scaling globally, aligning with Telefónica's strategy, and provides open innovation services to large corporations.

Remuner has created a unique variable compensation platform that, through AI, automates and optimizes the management of employee compensation plans to align them with company objectives. Wayra is participating in the €2 million pre-seed funding round that Remuner has raised alongside other prominent investors such as Pear VC, K Fund, and Bonsai, among others.

The startup has created a unique core banking system, regardless of whether it's a web3-native company or a traditional bank, to reconcile digital assets and traditional finance on a simple and agile platform. Wayra is participating in the funding round that Depasify has closed for over €2 million, alongside other investors, standing out as an investor for its solid experience in entrepreneurship and innovation on a global scale.

Palma de Mallorca, San Sebastián, Málaga y Vigo serán las próximas ciudades que acogerán el evento itinerante, tras haber pasado previamente por León. Venture On the Road busca talento a nivel regional más allá de Madrid y Barcelona, los dos hubs tecnológicos de referencia en España.

The three winners of the Innomakers4Health event will receive, among other benefits, a prize worth €6,000. This edition was organized by Wayra, Pfizer, and the Pfizer Foundation and brought together more than 100 entrepreneurs. Participants presented their projects, responding to the challenge of how to improve the management of cardiovascular health for populations at risk through technology.

Applications are open from today until December 13. The winner will be announced in early 2024.
