Wayra, Pfizer and the Pfizer Foundation launch a challenge to optimise efficiency in hospital outpatient clinics
Innomakers4Health is looking for 100 participants to design technology solutions that reduce administrative tasks and improve outpatient clinic processes.
The fintech operates in more than 14 countries and allows the online opening of a US dollar account, without the need to travel or be a resident of the US. Wayra participates in the €2M round that GrabrFi has closed to boost its growth and especially its expansion in Latin America.
In 2023, Wayra reinforced its focus on AI startups, with the fintech sector accounting for the largest number of investments. Over its 13 years of operation, Wayra has evolved into a corporate venture capital firm and currently offers support to startups scaling globally, aligning with Telefónica's strategy, and provides open innovation services to large corporations.
Remuner has created a unique variable compensation platform that, through AI, automates and optimizes the management of employee compensation plans to align them with company objectives. Wayra is participating in the €2 million pre-seed funding round that Remuner has raised alongside other prominent investors such as Pear VC, K Fund, and Bonsai, among others.
The startup has created a unique core banking system, regardless of whether it's a web3-native company or a traditional bank, to reconcile digital assets and traditional finance on a simple and agile platform. Wayra is participating in the funding round that Depasify has closed for over €2 million, alongside other investors, standing out as an investor for its solid experience in entrepreneurship and innovation on a global scale.
Venture on the Road sigue con su recorrido por la geografía española y su próxima parada será Elche (Alicante), el 18 de enero para buscar las startups más disruptivas de la Comunidad Valenciana. Palma de Mallorca, San Sebastián, Málaga y Vigo serán las próximas ciudades que acogerán el evento itinerante, tras haber pasado previamente por León. Venture On the Road busca talento a nivel regional más allá de Madrid y Barcelona, los dos hubs tecnológicos de referencia en España.
The three winners of the Innomakers4Health event will receive, among other benefits, a prize worth €6,000. This edition was organized by Wayra, Pfizer, and the Pfizer Foundation and brought together more than 100 entrepreneurs. Participants presented their projects, responding to the challenge of how to improve the management of cardiovascular health for populations at risk through technology.
La compañía colabora un año más con Wayra, el principal programa de innovación abierta de Telefónica, para detectar startups que trabajen con Inteligencia Artificial Generativa. Desigual busca soluciones que incorporen esta tecnología para acelerar el diseño de productos, agilizar la creación de contenidos o mejorar la experiencia de los clientes, entre otros.
PortAventura World, with its innovation hub Adventure Labs, and Wayra are joining forces to find startups using cutting-edge technology and redefine the future of the entertainment and theme park industry. Applications are open from today until December 13. The winner will be announced in early 2024.

Las inscripciones ya están abiertas para la primera parada, que tendrá lugar el próximo 29 de noviembre en León.
