BNDES Garagem is a BNDES initiative whose mission is to develop and foster entrepreneurship in Brazil by supporting entrepreneurs and startups. The program focuses on boosting impact businesses that want to contribute to solving social or environmental challenges.

In 2021 Wayra Brazil supported more than 45 startups during the first edition of the programme, with more than 130 hours of mentoring, different training workshops and lectures, with the aim of supporting the growth of each startup in its industry. In 2022, during the second edition of the programme, Wayra boosted more than 58 startups, also helping them to connect  with institutions, investors, corporates and public administrations from the Brazilian ecosystem.
