Since 2018 and for 3 years we carried out the E2E Renfe Group Open Innovation strategy. Through this project, Wayra launched TrenLab, Renfe's corporate accelerator, which seeks to co-create disruptive technological solutions with startups to improve the passenger journey, focusing on the customer and Renfe's internationalisation in order to remain committed to efficiency and safety.

In the editions managed by Wayra, we carried out 4 acceleration programmes, with a total of more than 18 accelerated startups. Within the programmes, Wayra supported those startups on raising more than €18.5M. In addition, we accelerated 3 intra-entrepreneurship projects and carried out ecosystem dynamization activities such as the first hackathon on board a train.
