In 2019, we launched the Novartis Biome UK e-health HUB.  The main objective of this project was to identify emerging solutions in the healthcare sector. During 2019 we co-designed the programme with the NHS with the aim of supporting startups with innovative healthcare solutions. In 2020, following the COVID-19 outbreak, the project's priorities revolved around finding digital health solutions to help address the medium and long-term challenges for the NHS created by the pandemic. Over 10 startups were accelerated and those startups raised over €39M.
